This kit gives you the tools needed to get your airborne thermal imaging program in the air right out of the box. By combining the flight stability, gimbal technology, image transmission, and mobile app integration of the DJI Inspire 1 with FLIR's industry-leading thermal imaging technology, this package gives you the ultimate solution for dependable, rapidly-deployable aerial thermal imaging. They are particularly suitable for firefighting support because they give Incident Commanders the ability to see through smoke and keep track of their personnel in large fire scenes. They are also a must-have kit for rapidly deployed SAR missions regardless of the time of day. The new FLIR Aerial First Responder Kit bundles the DJI Inspire 1 drone with the DJI Zenmuse XT stabilized thermal camera powered by FLIR and offered in two configurations, Basic and Advanced. The Basic bundle includes the 336x256 resolution Zenmuse XT with a 45-degree lens. The FLIR-equipped DJI drone packages offer first responders added support with the ability to see through smoke, assess the scene from an aerial perspective, and keep track of their personnel in large fire scenes. For search and rescue operators, they offer valuable observation capabilities in dangerous environments when time is critical. The camera on the Zenmuse XT provides high-sensitivity (50mK) infrared scanning at 336/30 fps depending on the camera model. This sensitivity provides accurate temperature measurements ideal for analytics and telemetry. Both cameras are available with four lens options to meet a variety of needs. Stabilized and controlled by a custom DJI gimbal, it provides smooth, clear imagery and 360 degrees of seamless rotational movement. The camera in the First Responders Basic Kit has a 30Hz frame rate and a 6.8mm lens (45° x 35°), with 336 x 256 resolution. Precision Full Screen Temperature Measurement Simply tap any point in an on-screen image to view the temperature of that point or select an area to measure the average, highest and lowest temperatures as well as their location. The camera can also be calibrated to further increase temperature measurement precision by setting external parameters including background temperature, scene emissivity and more. If photos are captured in the TIFF format, the temperature of each pixel can be recorded for further processing and analysis. A temperature alert threshold can be set, automatically activating when that temperature is detected. This capability could simplify and accelerate search and rescue and inspection activities.
